Branding.
Haakworkshops.nl bestaat sinds 2009 en ik vond het wel eens tijd om ter gelegenheid daarvan een nieuw logo te bedenken. Het is wel overduidelijk welke dienst mijn bedrijf levert, dacht ik zo :-)
Haakworkshops.nl has been around since 2009 and I thought it was time to come up with a new logo for that occasion. It is very clear which service my company provides :-)

Time.
Mijn moeder leerde me breien toen ik 6 jaar was en ik breide mijn eerste minisjaaltje, met 7 leerde ik borduren, kreeg ik mijn eerste handnaaimachientje en naaide voor mijn pop een rokje, met 8 leerde ik haken. En met al deze technieken heb ik mijn leven liefdevol gevuld.
My mother taught me to knit when I was 6 years old and I knitted my first mini scarf, at the age of 7 I learned to embroider, I got my first hand sewing machine and sewed a skirt for my doll, I was 8 when I learned to crochet. And with all these techniques I have lovingly filled my life.

Hands at work.
Je staat er niet altijd bij stil maar het is toch werkelijk wonderlijk wat handen kunnen! Al het werk dat ze letterlijk en figuurlijk verzetten, de vertaling die ze maken van wat je met je hoofd of hart bedenkt. Dankbaar ben ik voor elke steek die ik maak, heb gemaakt en nog zal maken.
You do not always think about it, but it is really amazing what hands can do! All the work they do literally and figuratively, the translation they make of what you come up with with your mind or heart. I am grateful for every stitch I make, have made and will make.
