Meetthemaker day 21.
Change.

Zolang er ontwikkeling en groei is, zullen er veranderingen zijn.
Soms gaat het daarbij om het proces en soms om de noodzakelijkheid om iets te veranderen.
Zeker in mijn werk als ontwerpster gebeurt het dat ik door een aanpassing of een andere benadering een totaal andere richting in ga dan ik van tevoren had kunnen bedenken. Het resultaat heeft me al vaak verrast.  Om een simpel voorbeeld te geven, een enigszins saai garen kan door de toevoeging van een juiste draad of verandering van steek, een totaal ander gevoel of beeld geven.
Binnen de haakworkshops ligt de verandering voor een deel bij mijn cursisten. Ik spring in op hun behoeften en pas de lesstof, indien mogelijk, daarop aan. Ik geloof in een persoonlijke benadering, dus verandering en flexibiliteit is daar bij vanzelfsprekend.

As long as there is development and growth, there will be changes. Sometimes it concerns the process and sometimes the necessity to change something. Certainly in my work as a designer it happens that through an adjustment or another approach I end up in a completely different direction than I could have imagined beforehand. The result has often surprised me. To give a simple example, a slightly dull yarn can add a completely different feel or image with the addition of a correct thread or change of stitch.Within the crochet workshops, the change partly lies with my students. I respond to their needs and adapt the teaching material, if possible. I believe in a personal approach, so change and flexibility go without saying.
