Technique / Skills.

Op jonge leeftijd leerde ik al haken van mijn moeder en tante. Ik ben altijd op zoek naar nieuwe steken, technieken en trucjes. Het is grappig om te ontdekken dat men op dat gebied steeds inventiever lijkt te worden. Ik denk weleens dat hoe langer ik bezig ben hoe minder ik weet. Wat er gewoon op neer dat ik nog steeds nieuwe dingen ontdek die me verwonderen wat betekent dat ik nooit uitgeleerd ben. En dat maakt maakt mijn werk nu juist zo interessant.

At a young age I learned to crochet from my mother and aunt. I am always looking for new stitches, techniques and tricks. It is funny to discover that people seem to be more and more inventive in that area. I sometimes think that the longer I am busy the less I know. So the bottom line is that I am still discovering new things that amaze me, which means I have never finished learning. And that is what makes my work so interesting.
